Why I would like the tags passed to the autoresponder

I understand that currently the tags only apply inside IQ Lead Magnet.
Since I have specific followup messages for each opt-in page, I would like to add the subscribers to my autoresponder sequence.
Without the tags being passed, I have to add the subscribers to separate lists
If the tags were passed, I could add all the subscribers to "My Tribe" list. Here is a graphic illustrating what I'm finding

I tried exporting the subscribers plus tag - and importing to the autoresponder as an "update" to get the tag added, but...
a) this would be a tedious and manual process I'd have to do every day - and the subscriber would be left "hanging" until I did so
b) the tag is not included in the csv file.
I'd really value your suggestions on my problem

We decided not to implement the use of tags (out of Mailwizz) because it causes somhow complexity for the users who don't use it.
I understand your troubles handling all your optins.
Not sure if you use aWeber, but there must be some internal CRON process to automate the proccess you are talking about. It's a matter of having separate lists and asign a tag to all the people inside that list, then go through your entire proccess of assigning tags.
Now you have it in different lists, I understand, but you must have an option to move or copy that optin to some other list with the specified tags, so that you can follow trough your second option and go through the proccess seamlessly.
Let me know which AR are you using and let's discuss the options.
I will be out since next monday, so please, be patience with this one!

Yes, I'm using Aweber since that is the one recommended by the course I'm on but I also have GetResponse...
In Aweber you can opt a subscriber into the "tribe" list when they opt into a lead magnet list, but this one subscriber is then treated as 2 distinct subscribers, so adding a tag to the subscriber in the lead magnet specific list, DOESN'T add the tag to the subscriber in the tribe list... you have to export from the lead magnet list and import as "update" to the tribe list - manual (cron job) and time specific.
This presents 2 problems
1) Since I have traffic sources that DO pass the tag, I have set up all the Lead Magnet AR sequences in the Tribe list. To use IQ Lead magnet Opt in as a traffic source and implement a LM list plus update to the tribe list, means I have to maintain the AR message sequences for each Lead Magnets in multiple lists. Then run the cron job to transfer only those who have finished the opt-in sequence to the tribe list.
2) The duplicate subscribers mean the cost of the autoresponder service is incremented

1) then you can consider IQ Lead Magnet optins with NO tag, coming users from this system, so you can work with them. aWeber has the possibility of moving or copying users as far as I know.
2) It depends on which Tier you are using, for sure, but anyways, that happens in most of the AR as you might want to have the users through different list to send them different info.
