Why call this a rotator

So I have went through the videos twice now for Lead Magnet IQ and I have a couple of questions.
1. Do have to have and use the member area?
2. Why do you call it a rotator since it only has one link?
Unless I missed something in the video I am under the impression that a rotator holds multiple urls and uses a different one each time someone clicks.

Hi Steve;
1 Having a members area is optional. Watch the interactive training to see how can you use that for your leads.
2 Rotator has 1 main link (spill link) and then you can add inside as many URL as you need.
That's why it's called rotator, one destination link but multiple distribution!
